Week 22

Just pluggin along. I had my 22 week appointment this week. My appetite is finally back and I've been eating horribly so I knew I was going to not like looking at the scale. I only gained 4 lbs!! Right on track. I was down 4 and so now I am back at my starting weight. Weight aside--the heartbeat sounded fabulous and the doctor seemed incredibly happy with my progress. I am starting to feel her move around a lot more and I am even feeling the "kicks" now. It might have been my imagination but I swear I felt a kick with movement on the outside earlier today. :) The little things amaze me. It is such a blessing to know I have this little being growing inside me.

Other than that, nothing too exciting. Cincinnati and the rest of the Midwest got hit with a snow then ice then snow storm this week. Luckily, I worked 2nd shift on the 2 worst days so I didn't have to worry about driving in the craziness. I work for a hospital so that means even though it is a level 3 emergency I still get to go in. Everyone is still safe and the roads are starting to clear off.

We've had progress in the office soon to be nursery. The new corner desk is assembled and I am working on it right now. Now, I just need to clear out my "piles" in the office and get them to the right places. Soon we will be able to move the furniture out and paint!!! How exciting! Tomorrow while Chris is sleeping I plan on going to BabysRUs and finishing up our registry. All of this planning is so much fun!!
